The Bradley Method® of childbirth was founded by Dr. Robert Bradley and is based on the observation of mammals in labor. Mammals are able to give birth normally and naturally without the use of interventions and medications. In most cases, humans are able to do the same. It is the safest way to give birth.

The Bradley Method® of natural childbirth classes are offered to assist in the education process and in making informed choices about your birth experience. The intent of these classes is to give parents the necessary information to make informed decisions about how they choose to give birth, with an emphasis on giving birth naturally. These courses bring the couple closer together through participation and dialogue. The Bradley Method® also known as husband coached childbirth trains the baby’s father to coach his partner through her pregnancy and birth. It empowers him as a father and you as a couple.

Bradley classes are designed to be small to ensure proper attention is given to each couple. They last for 12 weeks so that adequate time and attention is given to all the aspects of preparing you for birth. Through, videos, lecture, discussion, books, and activities, you will learn about:

w                         Exercises that help with pregnancy and birth

w                         Relaxation and natural breathing

w                         Pain coping techniques

w                         Coaching tips

w                         Physiology

w                         Stages of labor,

w                         Birthing positions

w                         Other relevant topics to address your needs.

Assistant coaches who will attend the birth, other than the baby’s father, are welcome to attend classes.

Classes are taught by Justine and her partner, John in their home in Huntington Beach. Classes are offered in the South Bay as needed. Justine and John both were empowered by the birth of their daughter, Jadyn Rose. They were students of The Bradley Method® and chose to teach because of the need to educate more people about the beauty of natural childbirth. They both know that with the proper education, people will make informed choices they can feel good about. Without education we give away our power to ignorance.  Justine and John have complimentary teaching styles and can adjust to meet the needs of the class.

The 12 week series includes a workbook, lending library, videos to watch, handouts, and phone and email support. The cost is $300. Private classes are also available in your home or mine, and cost $395.
